Royal, extravagant and stately - three words that perfectly describes BOH Plantations Sdn Bhd’s (BOH) latest blend of tea to date. BOH’s Diamond Jubilee Tea is a unique blend that is especially created in conjunction with Their Royal Highnesses (TRH) the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s scheduled visit to Malaysia this month in commemoration of Her Majesty the Queen’s 60-year reign.

A distinctive tea that can be enjoyed anytime of the day, the Diamond Jubilee blend effectively combines the flowery pekoe from BOH’s Sungei Palas Tea Garden in Cameron Highlands with a tang of lemon and mandarin, as well as a hint of Britain’s favourite Earl Grey, making it a light, brisk and flavourful tea.

“Specially blended to depict this stately occasion, The Diamond Jubilee Tea is the result of BOH’s close collaboration with The Royal Household and the British High Commission in Malaysia, where the final blend and design were selected by the Royal Household itself,” explained Caroline Russell, Chief Executive Officer of BOH.

“The Diamond Jubilee Tea will be served at the Tea Party held in the British High Commissioner’s residence in honour of the Royal Couple’s visit. In addition, the Diamond Jubilee blend will be presented to them as well as Her Majesty the Queen as a gift from BOH,” Caroline continued.

 “The Diamond Jubilee Tea is an exclusive limited edition whereby proceeds from the sale will be donated to Hospis Malaysia, a charitable organisation specialising in Palliative Care, selected by the Royal Couple,” stated Caroline.

The BOH Diamond Jubilee Tea is retailed at RM35 per canister at the BOH Tea Centre in Sungei Palas, Cameron Highlands and at selected specialty gift shops such as those in KLIA.
